What do I like most about the NCANA? The thing I like most about the NCANA is the ability to interact with both SRNA and CRNA members at meetings but also through committee work. I am very proud of the accomplishments and strength of our state association especially when compared to other states where the state association is not as strong. We are fortunate to have leaders and members with a passion for providing high quality anesthesia care to our patients and supporting CRNA practice in NC.

What do I like most about the NCANA? There are so many things I love about the NCANA, it is close to impossible to select one!  I love the membership engagement and networking at the multiple NCANA sponsored events, especially with the SRNA’s from the six anesthesia schools in the state.  We have the potential to impact our profession by the mentorship we provide to these future leaders.   I plan to pursue this goal further this year to encourage our members to utilize the many resources offered by the NCANA to become more engaged to secure a strong association and profession for all members.

What do I like most about the NCANA? My favorite thing about NCANA is the opportunity to network with other CRNAs and stay up to date on current practices and research.

What do I like most about the NCANA? First the leaders of the NCANA- their enduring trust to one another, selfless commitment to the role that they were elected, and remarkable advocacy to NCANA members. Members: their continuous support to the leaders and the association. As a whole NCANA: long-lasting support to the nurse anesthesia profession and advocacy of safe patient care.

What do I like most about the NCANA? NCANA embodies the values of all CRNAs: advocacy, passion and collegiality. CRNAs provide the highest quality anesthesia care to North Carolina residents, and our state association is strong and vibrant. And our meetings bring quality continuing education to CRNAs and SRNAs. What’s not to love?

What do I like most about the NCANA? I believe what I like best is the opportunity being on the Board has allowed me to learn about our legislative process.

What do I like most about the NCANA?  I love the NCANA's focus on the advancement of nurse anesthesia in both the healthcare community and the legislature. As an SRNA, I am excited and honored to be involved!

What do I like most about the NCANA? What I like most about the NCANA is how effectively it advocates for nurse anesthesia from a legislative standpoint. I also really appreciate how much the NCANA supports SRNA participation and values the student voice, which I am proud to represent.
