Poster Submission 2024

We are pleased to announce the opportunity to share and disseminate your scholarly work at the 2024 NCANA Annual Meeting.

To increase viewer accessibility and researcher interaction, NCANA’s posters will be posted on the NCANA website for one week prior to the meeting, onsite during the meeting, and for one week following, from October 25, 2024, through November 8, 2024. A one-hour Poster Session on Saturday, November 2, 2024 1615-1715 (see meeting agenda) where presenters will be available to engage viewer questions and comments regarding their research and scholarly projects in a casual format.

Requirements for The Poster Session:
1. Complete and submit an abstract application by Friday, August 2, 2024Extended to Friday, August 16, 2024! - Currently Closed
2. Submit your digital poster presentation slide complete with results to the NCANA office via email ([email protected]) by Friday, September 6, 2024.
3. Be present on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1615-1715 for the onsite poster session. Online participation will not be available this year, all poster  presenters are strongly encouraged to attend in order to participate in the Q&A session.

Poster presentation requirements:
Your poster will be presented as a digital slide available for viewing at the Annual Meeting on two screens that attendees can view. Your slide should include the purpose or research question(s), methods, results, and the implications of your findings. For projects currently in progress, include a complete review of current literature in lieu of results. Please make sure any font used is large and clear enough that it will be legible for viewers. The slide should be as simple and clear as possible with supportive details added by the presenter (i.e., what you did, what you found, and what it means).

Using a QR code for references is strongly encouraged. A template is available for your convenience, though it is not mandatory for submission. For optimal screen viewing, a 16:9 aspect ratio is recommended for PowerPoint slides. Please submit the final poster as a .pptx file.
